Community Medical Services

Community Medical Services is a drug addiction treatment center. Community Medical Services (CMS) works with a network of CARF-accredited clinics that offers Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid addicts. We hold a total of 15 clinics throughout the United States. CMS was organized in Phoenix, Arizona in 1983 and now owns additional clinics in Alaska, Montana, and North Dakota. Its Alaska clinic, located in Wasilla, opened in 2016 and gives medication with Suboxone, methadone, and Vivitrol.

Counseling is counseled to anyone who is dependent on drugs or alcohol. Counseling focuses on what is called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as a procedure called Motivational Interviewing. Both of these techniques can help in transforming the way individuals process information leading to non–drug use outcomes. Group counseling is also useful for deals with a problem and can be provided if requested.

The vision of CMS to help those who are grieving from addiction. We think of these characters as our patients, and our unique object is to help them heal. We’re happy that our clinics provide our patients with an environment that is free of determination and arrogance and we’re steadfast in treating everyone with the utmost pride and honor.
